LISA ANNE FURTADO the author of Pop Rock Cop  is also known as FARRAH. She  published her first book in 2009 – “Her Apparitions” ( Book 1 of the Human Longings series). It has been an Amazon best seller several times and has received notable book award nods such as the Noveltunity Award, USA. 

Her first book is both a disturbing and uplifting true story, this tale has no end of surprising turns and unveils the mysteries in a human heart and soul desperately striving for world peace.

Her Apparitions & Other Human Longings has also been modified for an adolescent Chinese – speaking market and translated into traditional and simplified Chinese.

Furtado found much success with her first book and has been invited to literature events in Azores, Toronto, Taipei, California, Portugal, Macau and Beijing for book readings and to give inspirational talks.

She has lived in southern Taiwan for over ten years teaching English and yoga. She has lived in Portugal for three years running her successful international yoga retreat -school, Bend it like Buddha ( Yoga Alliance RYS 200, RYS 300) .

In 2015 she published Euphoria, the 2nd installment of the Human Longing series and it became an Amazon Best seller in three categories in it’s first week.

Pop Rock Cop the screenplay – treatment Furtado wrote was nominated by The Embassy of Portugal at the Beijing International Book Fair in 2013 for the Camoes 100, 000 Euro prize in literature, which is regarded as the Nobel prize in literature in Portuguese speaking countries.

Furtado thought a fellow Luso-writer might like this story so she showed it to Hollywood writer Stephen Rebello- Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho which he immediately loved and agreed to write the final draft of the movie script.
